Nationwide sends their annual graduate intake,
of around 16 young men and women to Swallet Development Activities. These
bright and keen trainee managers have been selected for their natural
customer focus and their proven intellect. However, they also need to
develop strong managerial and team skills and align these to the group’s
5 Core values. The potential is there but much of this latent talent is
hidden or undiscovered, by both the individual and their employer.
Throughout the 3 day programme, we were able to relate their experiences
to the 5 core values of their organisation. The graduates developed a
genuine commitment to each other and the aims of their business. Shared
experiences strengthen engagement and trust. We believe that they returned
to their work environment with new strengths and a stronger belief in their
capabilities.
